Intermediate Belly Fat Workout Plan

The following intermediate belly fat workout plan is a home workout that focuses on three areas: Cardio, Belly and Booty. This intermediate workout is a bit more challenging that the beginner belly fat workout but is very doable. In addition, you won’t need any special equipment and it can be performed just about anywhere (home or office).

Format for the intermediate belly fat workout plan

Warm up:

·         High knees

·         Arm reaches

·         Short squats

Here are the exercises you will be performing for the intermediate belly fat workout plan.

Light cardio:

Exercise 1: Hook and knee and toe touch combination

Exercise 2: Front and side jacks

Exercise 3: Knee ups, shift and touch

Exercise 4: High knees plus shift and touches

Exercise 5: Standing side bends (crunches)

Exercise 6: Reach and grabs plus alternate punches

Ab workout:

Exercise 1: Dead bugs plus scissor kicks

Exercise 2: Knee raise and reach plus ankle grabs

Exercise 3: Bicycle crunches

Booty workout:

Exercise 1: Hip thrusts

Exercise 2: Single leg hip thrusts

Exercise 3: Single leg kickbacks plus hamstring curls

Exercise 4: Alternating frog kicks

Stretches:

Stretch 1: Standing hamstring stretch

Stretch 2: Chest, shoulder and calf stretch

Stretch 3: Lying groin stretch

Some important points:

If you feel any cramps, please stop the workout, stretch and have the following electrolyte drinks.

Remember, drink one glass of water prior to your workout and another during your workout. If you can have one more glass of water after your workout. I suggest following this routine for two weeks and perform it 3 times per week. Once you are up to it, increase the days to 4 or 5 days a week. I will be posting more challenging workouts in the coming weeks so keep on checking back.
