High Protein Low Carb Breakfast Wrap

The belly be gone breakfast wrap is one of my favorites. It is a super low carb, high protein breakfast meal that is light and delicious. The BBG wrap is a great meal that you can have as a breakfast, brunch of lunch. This is a high protein low carb breakfast wrap in BLT fashion! It takes minutes to prepare and it tastes AWESOME!

Ingredients

·         1/4 cup light marble cheese or cheddar cheese

·         1 egg

·         1 tablespoon almond flour

·         1 tablespoon pea protein powder (optional)

·         1 strip reduced sodium bacon

·         2 slices of tomato

·         1 lettuce leaf

·         1/2 tablespoon light mayonnaise

·         1/8 tsp of baking soda

·         2 tablespoons of water

·         1 glass of water (16  oz)

Cooking Instructions

·         Cook bacon and set aside

·         Heat a medium non-stick pan over medium heat

·         Grate cheese

·         Mix egg, cheese, almond flour, pea protein powder and baking soda well in a bowl

·         Pour mixture onto the pan and spread out evenly

·         Cook each side until golden brown

·         Transfer to a plate and spread mayonnaise on one side of wrap

·         Top with lettuce, bacon and tomato

·         Fold in to make a wrap

·         309 calories

·         Protein 25g

·         Carbs 6g

·         Fat 19g
