Is There An Exercise for Under Armpit Flab?

exercise for under armpit flab

If there is one question I get a lot it's how to get rid of under armpit flab. This is a great question because unlike the belly, butt or thighs, there isn't a ton of home exercises that effectively targets the under armpit area. Unless you have access to a full, commercial gym it can be difficult to find the most effective home exercises for under armpit flab.

Well, it's a good thing you've come to this page because I am going to show you an exercise that you can do at home that is one of the best exercises for under armpit flab.

Before we begin, you must understand something.

This exercise alone will not get rid of under armpit flab. Yes, it is one of the best home exercises you can do to firm up under armpit flab and will help get rid of the flab, but it won't totally get rid of the flab. To truly get rid of under armpit flab you will need to adjust your diet AND perform this exercise every second day.

Do this and you can expect big results!

Now, I am not going to get into the specifics of nutrition and diet but I will say this, follow a structured meal plan designed for weight loss and you will start to see results....FAST! There are a ton of meal plans on the internet
but I will save you the hassle and provide you with two, full meal plans complete with grocery lists below. All you have to do is print them off and follow.

The Best Exercise for Under Armpit Flab

I am going to show you an exercise that nobody ever uses but it is one of the MOST effective exercises for under armpit flab. This exercise will firm your entire under armpit area and best of all, you can do it laying down! The secret
to making this under armpit flab exercise is HOW we are going to perform it.

We are going to use the dumbbell pullover exercise and split this exercise into two phases. The first phase will work with gravity and the second phase will work AGAINST gravity which will essentially double the effectiveness of
this exercise.

Let's break this exercise down.

First, I want you to lie on an exercise matt with your back against the floor. You can bend your knees or keep your legs straight (I prefer to bend my knees). Grab two dumbbells and press them above your chest until your arms are full extended.

Next, lower your left arm to the floor while keeping it straight. Stop one inch from the floor, pause for a moment and raise the dumbbell back to the start position.

Next, bring both arms directly above your chest

For the last part of this exercise, you are going to use a method called "static contraction" which is the secret sauce that makes this exercise so effective.

I want you to lower both dumbbells to one inch off the floor. I want you to hold this position.

I want you to lift your left arm until the dumbbell is above your chest. Keep your right arm holding the dumbbell one inch from the floor. Lower the left dumbbell and lift the right dumbbell until the dumbbell is directly above your chest. Pause for a moment and lower the dumbbell back to the floor.

Lastly, raise both dumbbells upwards until they are both above your chest.

Here is an instructional video:

This is a great exercise for under armpit flab. It will take a few tries to get it right but keep at it and you will get the hang of it!

I suggest performing this exercise every second day. Once you start to get the hang of the exercise, try doing 2 or 3 sequences of this exercise. A sequence is performing the entire exercise, (see video above).

Remember...Stay safe and stay Strong!!
